A Week Gone By

Improving health coincided with steeply falling temperatures (and no photos). But today was downright balmy: Outdoors, enjoying the newly fallen snow. Apple-Apple was undettered despite suffering a bloody nose (visible here as an apparent moustache). Taken by Kevin.

Snow Day/Sick Day

The sick ones stayed inside (Kevin and Apple-Apple), and those well enough came outside to build a fort, which turned into a house--one for us, and one for Santa Claus.

Snowboarding on Christmas day. Albus takes a hill. Kevin says his own attempts to snowboard were possibly the most dangerous moments all holiday.

CJ took his first step on December 29th, his mom's birthday, and his own nine-month anniversary. So far, just single steps. He loves the cheers these receive from a roomful of adoring sibs and parents.

Look--the creche scene is being played with peacefully!!! It only took till the New Year. It was actually deemed off-limits after too much fighting. The girls are playing school with their Playmobil people, "and it's a very religious school," says Apple-Apple, hence the students have gathered before the holy family.
